Privacy Policy

PostedIt is operated by Laurel Beard LLC, a Georgia limited liability company ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use PostedIt (postedit.app).

By creating an account and using PostedIt, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and create a profile record in our database. We do not collect your name, phone number, or physical address unless you provide it voluntarily.

Content you log. When you use PostedIt to log posts, we store the information you enter — including post titles, captions, dates, platform tags, performance notes, category labels, and any images you upload. This content is private to your account and is not visible to other users.

Usage data. We may collect basic usage information such as pages visited, features used, and session duration. This information is used to improve the product and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising purposes.

Payment information. Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiry date, or CVV. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status in our database.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to operate and improve PostedIt, to send you transactional emails (such as account confirmation and password reset), to process your subscription and manage billing, and to respond to support requests you send us. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not display advertising in PostedIt.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase, a managed database platform with industry-standard security practices. Images you upload are stored in Supabase storage. We use Row Level Security so your data is only accessible to your own account. No other PostedIt user can access your posts, categories, or account information.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible until you request deletion. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email us at laurel@laurelbeard.org with the subject line "Delete my account." We will process your request within 30 days.

Cookies

PostedIt uses cookies and local storage to maintain your login session. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Third-Party Services

PostedIt uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase (database and file storage): supabase.com/privacy
• Stripe (payment processing): stripe.com/privacy
• Lovable (application hosting): lovable.dev/privacy

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

Children's Privacy

PostedIt is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at laurel@laurelbeard.org.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PostedIt after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
